Fee Structure  

LL.B. Three Years Program.

  1. Presently LL.B. program is governed by DIRECTION NO. 34 of 2019, EXAMINATIONS LEADING TO THE AWARD OF THE DEGREE OF BACHELOR OF LAWS (LL.B) (3 YEARS COURSE) [NEW CREDIT BASED SYSTEM],DIRECTION, 2019, this is applicable to the batches from 2019-20 all earlier batches of LL.B. THREE YEARS PROGRAM are still govern by earlier direction Direction No. 7 of 2012 (Reviewed by Direction no. 7 of 2019). In phase manner the new direction would be applicable to coming batches too.
  2. Subject to his compliance with the provisions of these directions and of other ordinances in force from time to time, the eligibility of an applicant for admission to the course shall be as under:-
  3. Eligibility for the admission is determined through the CET conducted by CET CELL, Govt. of Maharashtra and the Direction of the University governing the program.
  4. Rules of Promotion (FOR BATCH UNDER NEW DIRECTION APPLICABLE FROM 2019-2020 ): Rules of Promotion from one semester to another semester are as follows:
    • From I to II : A Student should have undergone regular course of study and appeared for Sessionals or/and University Theory/Practical Examination of Semester-I.
    • From II to III :
      a) A Student should have undergone regular course of study and appeared for Sessionals or/and University Theory/Practical Examination of Semester-II, and;
      b) the number of backlogs, if any, of Semester I and II taken together shall not exceed 5(five) courses/papers prescribed for Semester I and II.
    • From III to IV :A Student should have undergone regular course of study and appeared for Sessionals or/and University Theory/Practical Examination of Semester-III.
    • From IV to V :
      a) A Student Should have undergone regular course of study and appeared for Sessionals or/and University Theory/Practical Examination of Semester-IV, and;
      b) A Student must have passed all the papers/course of Semester I and II, and;
      c) the number of backlogs, if any, of Semester III and IV taken together shall not exceed 5 (five) courses/papers.
    • From V to VI : A Student should have undergone regular course of study and appeared for Sessionals or/and University Theory/Practical Examination of Semester-V
  5. The academic session for the 1st , 3rd and 5th semester shall ordinarily commence from 1st July , while for 2nd 4th and 6th semester shall commence from 1st of January every year.
  6. The students of 4th ,5th and 6th semester shall be required to undergo practical training as indicated in subsequent pages.
  7. The scope of the topics in various papers will be as mentioned in the syllabus.
  8. The fees for the examination shall be as prescribed by the university from time to time.
  9. The medium of instruction and examination shall be in ENGLISH . question papers for the examination shall be set in English . However, the candidate shall have the option to write their answers either in English, Hindi or Marathi.
  10. Each paper / subject for the examination shall be of 100 marks. For the purposes of passing the subject/paper student shall secure 40 marks minimum TAKEN TOGATHER WITH INTERNAL MARKS. However, for passing entire semester 50% aggregate marks necessary.
  11. In order to get exemption in the subject/COURSE the candidate should have secured at least 50% marks IN THAT SUBJECT.
  12. There shall be no classification of successful examinees except in 6th semester.
  13. An examinee successful at the LL.B. examination shall on payment of prescribed fee shall receive a degree signed by the Vice-Chancellor.
