3) Anti Ragging Committee

(Formed under UGC regulation on curbing the menace of Ragging in Higher Educational institutions, 2009)

Ragging is traditional and systematical human right abuse in educational field. It refers to an act that violates the dignity of a student. To root out ragging in all its forms from the college, the anti-ragging committee has been formed under UGC regulation on curbing the menace of Ragging in Higher Educational institutions, 2009 to ensure compliance with the provisions of regulations.

Objectives :

·         To educate students on the ill effects of ragging and the consequences including legal consequences of ragging.

·         To conduct awareness programmes on the menace of ragging, its impact, consequences and redressal mechanism available.

·         To take steps to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging.

·         To take step to create ragging free campus.

Composition of Committee:
