4) Internal Complaints Committee (ICC)

(Formed under UGC (Prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions) Regulations, 2015 and The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, prohibition and redressal) Act, 2013)

The college is a coeducational institution providing equal opportunities to all. It is the mission of the college to impart professional, legal liberal and moral education in a just environment of equality and fraternity. Therefore, in keeping with the ideology of this institution and in compliance with the UGC (Prevention, prohibition and redressal of sexual harassment of women employees and students in higher educational institutions). Regulations, 2015 and Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, prohibition and redressal) Act, 2013, an internal complaint committee has been formed to take into account the complaints of sexual harassment of women staff and students. The ICC is committed to a zero tolerance policy towards sexual harassment and strives to create a campus free from discrimination and sexual harassment.

Objectives :

·         To create awareness about sexual harassment.

·         To prevent discrimination and sexual harassment against girls by promoting gender amity among students and employees.

·         To provide conducive environment and congenial atmosphere for women.
